About us
Independent Music Production Studio and Beat Makers
jbs records
JBS Records is an independent music production studio focused on creating high-quality beats, original compositions, and professional audio for artists, creators, and filmmakers. Our work blends experience, creativity, and modern production techniques to deliver music that sounds authentic, polished, and ready for release. With a team of producers, composers, and sound specialists, we shape ideas from the first sketch to the final master, offering artists a reliable partner for beats, exclusive licensing, and custom sound projects.
Once purchased, the beat is permanently removed from the store, ensuring no other artist can purchase it.

Our team

Jose Bravo Santana
Lead Producer and Composer
I’m Jose Bravo Santana, founder of JBS Records — a composer, producer, and musician from Bogotá, Colombia. For over 30 years, I’ve been creating and performing Colombian rap while exploring and blending diverse musical genres. My passion for Andean music and my background as a multi-instrumentalist — playing charango, percussion, and guitar — allow me to craft original sounds that move between tradition and innovation. At JBS Records, I’m responsible for composition, production, mixing, and mastering, shaping every stage of the creative process. I’m currently studying Music Production online at Berklee College of Music, continuously expanding my craft and refining my approach to modern sound.

Mario Alvarez
Music Producer and Arranger
I’m Mario Alvarez, a music producer, composer, and educator based in Bogotá, Colombia. At JBS Records, I work as part of the music production team, writing and arranging the musical ideas that shape each project. I’m responsible for composing, scoring, and transcribing the pieces at bringing our productions to life — acting as the creative right hand behind every song and soundtrack. Throughout my career, I’ve participated in numerous national and international festivals such as Festival Voz, Teatro Colón, Mediatorta, and La Mitad del Mundo in Quito, and collaborated with groups including Los Sureños, Trío Pentagrama, Canela, Tikchamaga, and Los Hermanos Escamilla. My background in guitar, harmony, and music education allows me to combine structure and emotion — turning ideas into music that feels alive.
